Love Aajkal : What is TRUE LOVE?

A cold wind moves past by and rain drops awakes one from the tedium of the work burden. Just as the head is raised ... there comes before him,
a Goddess of Beauty !

as the flowers shower upon her and the wind plays with her hair ... she moves with a charismatic smile and the spectator is dumb with awe .... He is in LOVE with her !
. . .  A typical scene of our Indian cinema ! might have seen this in hundreds of movies . . .

So, is this all about Love? Just a boy/ man seeing a splendid, beautiful girl or a soft natured, docile, the girl-next door seeing a macho hero fighting with some ruffians ... and they fall in LOVE? I wonder if  it is Love or is it only infatuation? How far does the relations based on these infatuations leads to? not too far than the restaurant, cinema or a theme park, except in rare cases.

I wonder what would happen to the boy/ man's love if the girl one day loses her beauty ... may be a victim of some acid throwing maniac, a helpless victim of a road accident or a fire accident. Does the love still exists or disappears with the beauty? What happens if the charming, handsome, macho hero becomes a handicap in a war or an accident or some other trouble? Is this eternal love which was sung by so many lyricts, poets and singers vanish just like that? If it does, is it worth to be called as LOVE?

Many youngsters are wasting their time and careers behind the so-called Love, without even knowing what is it's worth ? Someone would point out that Love is beyond everything else and we can lose anything for that. I agree too … but, before sacrificing our time, studies, career and life .... Let us think of the True Love we have always been receiving from other side. Before giving the largest share of our life to this instant love, isn't it our duty to be answerable to that one as well . . .

Consider if the same person after losing their beauty or charm and strength go to their parents. Would the parents still Love the person the same way. A Mother would love his children irrespective of his beauty, ability, social status, intelligence and everything else. She would love the same way, let whatever happen. She would care for us, though we rarely remember her. She would keep praying for us, long back we’ve forgotten her existence. She would be happy to know that we are safe somewhere, even if she is no more a part of our world. She would not love us for what we become or what we give her ... but just LOVE us for what we are. Parent's love is unconditional. Its pure and permanent. Very few relations in this world are as pure as parent's love.

There is nothing wrong in pursuing this true Love in some relation or the other, but in this pursuit, let us not forget or ignore the same love which we have been receiving even before our birth. It was Mother's day last week and many people celebrated it. But I truly believe everyday is a Mother's day/ Father's day. Let us try to keep them happy. We may not always have to do a lot for this, just spare a little time and enquire about their well being and atleast let them know sometime that We do care for them ...

Friends, before foregoing your studies, career and life for someone u loved ... just think once again ... what is True Love? Is it worth the sacrifice ?? … and what about those, who have been giving this True Love even before our Birth???

Moreover, Life is much more worth than anything else. Everyone of us are born in this world for a purpose. Try to realise your purpose and start moving towards that goal with confidence, commitment and dedication ... who know's, in the same path you may also find your True Love !

First of all Congratulations for Starting a Blog.
All the Very BEST .I Wish ur Blog will become Very Popular. It will be Very Good and useful to share our views and Ideas so that it will be very useful to any Individual or Society....

Regarding the Topic ''TRUE LOVE''.... your views are Excellent ...
    * Today's People Completely changed the meaning of love. For them Love is only related to GIRL/BOY
    * TRUE LOVE means Loving the person (GIRL or BOY ,PARENTS or FRIEND or RELATIVE or Any HUMAN BEING or ANIMALS or BIRDS....Anything)Where we Should do anything for the HAPPINESS of THEM.
    * It may look like a simple message , But the message has so much Meaning involved in it

hii manikanth i agree with what ever u said in this blog...

u mentioned abt LOVE is it real

in 1st paragragh that is related

to lust or attractiveness ..it is not love....

and u explained how parents r caring abt us...the parents love is not measurable...it is very pure.....

and u mentioned one more point abt youngsters.... it is real ...now a days many people r wasting their valuable time and thinking abt useless love... we don't know wat kind of love was...thant one...
as we said before it is attraction, or lust.....

u may find true love some where with some one but it is very rare..
    i think so.,..

at final what ever u mentioned is

    right....abt love...

    Love is a temporary madness.

It erupts like an earthquake and

then subsides. And when it subsides

you have to make a decision. You

have to work out whether your roots

    have become so entwined together

that it is inconceivable that you

should ever part. Because this is

what love is. Love is not

    breathlessness, it is not

    excitement, it is not the

    promulgation of promises of eternal

passion. That is just being "in

love" which any of us can convince

    ourselves we are.

  17. Hi Manikanth

Great topic to blog on and you conveyed realistic points in the write up.

Youngsters(Not to forget that Every one is a youngster at one point of life) get carried away majorly emotions by which priorities change and hence results too change.

Even I keep wondering whats True Love. It varies from person to person but in majority love might start based on some good qualities , attracting attributes as person exhibits or possesses. As you said,if they disappear at some point of time, love also disappears ?! There are chances for it.

So,Probably other than Parent's love there is no other love which is Un conditional.

I would also like to thank you for spreading the message of "Every Day is a Mother's day,Father's day" which every one need to relaize ,remember and spread .
